lHi, my name is Trent Kerr. On 6/6/25, I was in a devastating car accident that nearly took my life. I died twice during the incident. Once on the way to the hospital and once during my CT scan which they brought me back for immediate surgery and saved my life!
Fortunately, I was brought back both times by an incredible medical team. Since the accident, I’ve undergone a splenectomy which I received 22 staples in my stomach. (removal of my spleen), received eight stitches in my arm, 7 in my head, and five in my lip. The physical pain has been intense—but the emotional and financial stress is just as overwhelming.
I just started work again but the bills and rent that have racked is putting a lot of stress on my family if I don’t figure something out! As a sole provider for my family—my wife and our two beautiful children—this has put us in an incredibly difficult position. With one car right now, my wife can’t work, and I also do a lot of stuff for the community, from coaching my daughters softball team, sons flag football team, baseball team and organize a fishing clinic to get kids out more and away from electronics. This gives me no time for a 2nd job but is super rewarding! We’re facing mounting medical bills, daily living expenses, past due on rent and the uncertainty of when and if we will get caught back up.
I’m asking for help from our community, friends, and kind strangers. Anything you can give will go directly appreciated.
• Medical expenses and rehabilitation
• Rent and utility bills
• Groceries and essentials for my family
Even the smallest donation helps—and if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign to spread the word. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and support my family during the hardest time in our lives.
With gratitude,
Trent Kerr & The Kerr Family!
