Assist the Hillier Family in Need

Hi my name is Stephanie Hillier and I am making this gofundme for my mother-in law and father-in law. On January 9th my mother-in law Barb passed away at home. She has been sick with some major health problems including her heart and her lungs. She has been sick for many years and she is so strong, she fought so hard her whole life to just be here for her kids and her grandkids and her husband. In October of 2019 she had to undergo open heart surgery and was given an 8% chance of making it through! With the family by her side she went into that surgery and pulled though it with no problems! She always said that it was not her time and she was gonna come back to us! After her surgery her heart has been only working 20% but the doctors knew how strong she was and never ever gave her a timeline. In november of 2020 she had to undergo another surgery but this time they wanted to give her all the tools to have just Incase, so she had a pacemaker/defibulator put in and that gave us 5 more years with her. This is just a little background for you to understand how strong she was and she never stopped doing what she had to, to keep fighting and stay with her family.

On the early morning of January 9th, she just wasnt feeling the best and she was feeling very weak with her legs just not wanting to work. She was trying to get up to go to the hospital and she fell and my father-in law and I picked her up and had her in the seated position and I was holding her while he called 911. In my heart of hearts I believe she was just so tired that she finally just didn't want to be in the pain she was always in. She went peacefully to her slumber.

Now I am making this because she didn't have any life insurance and my father-in law William works so hard and never wants to ask for help. This is us asking for whatever you can help with because she deserves everything that she wanted as for as her funeral and such. This family has such a big heart and will help anyone and everyone that needs it and now I want to make sure they get the help that they need without having to ask for it. So please if you can help, even if its just a few dollars anything is wonderful and you will never know how much it truly means to us that you did donate. This last day has been the hardest for this family and I just want to try to make it a little bit easier for my husband and my father-in law. The have been married for nearly 45 years and that was is best friend. I just want to take a little bit off of his mind so hes not so worried all the time. I truly appreciate anything.
