Dear Family, Friends, and Community,

 

On Friday, July 12, 2024, John Grady unexpectedly passed away at his home. He left behind his daughter, brother, nieces, and close friends. We are all devastated with his sudden passing and in need of support.

For those who had the pleasure of knowing John, he was a wonderful soul with such a big heart. He was a child of God, a father, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a neighbor, and business man. Growing up in New York, his life started out rough losing his mother at a young age and losing his grandmother, sister, and brother in his twenties. Tragedy seemed to always chase him until he came to Miami where he found a new life for himself. He was a HUGE part of the community and churches (Trinity and the Little Flower) helping everyone he came in contact with. He was always taking in lost souls into his home, trying to give them the grace, hope and strength that he was given. His daughter, Linda Stephanie, loved him immensely. Although he was not her biological father, he helped raise her since age 5 and was always there for her no matter what. Every day, he chose to be her father and she is eternally grateful that God gave her such a gift.

 

We have created this GoFundMe page to help offset the cost of covering John’s existing expenses while we navigate the next steps, as well as funeral expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and provide some relief to the family during this heartbreaking time.
