Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved John Ferreira. He was a cherished husband, father and grandfather who brought so much love and light into our lives. He was also a Marine Veteran and a farmer until the day he could no longer work.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we come to terms with John’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. John wishes were to buried in California in his reserved veterans plot, where his son has already been laid to rest and it was John’s dying wish to be laid to rest with him, as John put it “My son shouldn’t be alone any longer.”

We want more than anything to give him that dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time. We would be extremely grateful for any help.
