Remembering Mark Evensen 05/02/1978 - 11/16/2024

Mark's Parents, Arlan and Jeanne Evensen, are grieving the loss of their only son from terminal cancer.

Aged 46 years, Mark was a gentle soul with a love of music and technology. He had been working at Sunset Church as a Video Director/Camera Operator until recently. He was living at home with his parents and had a social life at his local tavern. He was extremely private and had a strong faith in God. This loss came quickly and unexpectedly to our family.

If you knew Mark as I did you knew him to be a person focused on his interests and willing to share his knowledge and opinions freely with whomever would listen and ask questions. He was a talented singer in his youth attending Rex Putnam High School, and singing in the A Cappella Choir, he continued to study Music at Mt. Hood Community College and Portland State University.

Thanks for being a friend to Mark. Services will be forthcoming.
