Assist the Crabtree Family in Time of Need
Donation protected
My brother, David Crabtree, has been fighting complications with type 2 diabetes for several years. He went into DKA Sunday, Dec. 15, and was placed in a medically induced coma to address a necrotic pneumonia that had developed. He went into respiratory failure on Thursday and passed away on Friday, Dec. 20, at Riverbend in Eugene, Oregon, at the age of 46.
He leaves behind his parents, Bruce Crabtree (Lana) and Lydia Dooley, sister Heather “Dani” Crabtree, sons Elijah and Brycen Crabtree, and a large extended family in Oregon and Ohio, who love him deeply.
His death was not planned and while his health had been declining, his passing was sudden for the family.
We are asking for assistance for his final expenses for cremation, which are approximately $4,000 and other related expenses with his passing, ie last-minute airfare to fly our dad from Ohio to Oregon on a holiday weekend, which was $1,000 on a credit card. Funds will be distributed to my bank account to address the expenses.
Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held in January in Lebanon. Date and time are pending and will be announced for friends and family after the holidays here and social media.
