Help My Mom Heal After a Heart Attack

On her 61st birthday, my mom, Terry, suffered a heart attack—an event that turned our world upside down. She’s always been the heart of our family: strong, generous, hard working and the kind of person who never hesitates to help someone else in need. Now, she’s the one who needs help.

The doctors had to place stents in her heart to save her life, and she’s now facing a long road to recovery. Unfortunately, due to an issue during her insurance renewal, her paystubs weren’t processed properly, and she’s currently without medical coverage. That means every ER visit, every test, every cardiac scan and appointment, and all of the medications she now needs are being paid for entirely out of pocket.

To make things even harder, she’s unable to work while recovering, but her rent and bills haven’t stopped coming. She’s trying to heal while worrying about how to keep a roof over her head.

I’m creating this GoFundMe because my mom deserves to focus on her recovery—not the financial stress that’s come with it. Every donation will go directly toward her medical expenses and living costs during this incredibly difficult time.
