On Feb 10, our mother Tammy who was sick with the flu at the time suffered a fall resulting in a spinal cord injury and neurological damage from the fall. She has lost motor skill function in her hands, arms and legs. She is still working today to hopefully regain full function, as a result she is unable to work and since she is still in extensive rehabilitation the medical bills and insurance costs are adding up. We hope that she’ll make enough progress to be home soon, but she has limited mobility function and needs assistance with most everyday tasks. Ever since our dad passed in 2017, mom has been the primary provider. My brother now is the sole provider while I’m completing this semester of school and providing support for my mother. It’s uncertain if she can completely return to full activity, but it certainly will be a very long process since hand function is very limited. Since she’s going to need long term rehabilitation care the road will be long and costs are only going to increase. The amount we’re looking for is merely to cover the cost of bills we’ve already received. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated even if it just thoughts and prayers.
