Hi, Tami Shoff here, and as most of you know, I am a senior widow on a limited income. On 4/29/2025, Allison Park, PA, and most of Pennsylvania were hit with a very destructive windstorm. I have over 25 huge trees come down on my property, including one on my shed. I contacted the State Rep to see if there was any assistance for seniors who were uninsured or underinsured, and they, in turn, referred me to Hampton Township. Hampton Twp was only offering assistance in collecting debris 8” or less at the roadside. I also contacted 211, which is United Way, on 5/6/25 and was put on the list for Team Rubicon, who was volunteering for storm cleanup. I never heard back from them, and they left the area on 5/30/25. I am now left with the financial burden for cleanup. I have gotten some estimates, and tree work is costly. I am usually the one that helps, as I have helped many owners over the past 10 years with lost dogs, all volunteer. Now I’m needing help to clean up the damage from this storm. Any amount will help.
