Hi, my name is Selina. At 63, my struggling is real. I've been homeless off and on since 2018. From NC, to OH, to CA, to GA. In the mist of all this I've have 3 major surgeries, 2 rotator cuff surgeries and left dislocated elbow surgery. Then I was floating between family. I have a musculoskeletal disorder that affects my muscles, bones, and joints, and I'm on SSI, receiving less than $967 a month. I've been praying for a new home and I found a house. My check will be able to hold it down once I'm situated, but I need help to get started.
I'm in CA, with a friend on the couch.
I need a ticket, rent and security deposit, a rental truck to move my storage, turn on utilities, and buy food. Trying to save any money on SSI is a joke. If I could go back to work, SSI would take half of my SSI and I can't make more than what they give me from working. I have been living from pillow to post, couch, airbeds, friend to friend and finally someone offer my a house in North Carolina for $600 a month that I can afford and I need help relocating to my permanent residence. I will add a picture of myself in front of my new stable home to my GoFundMe account as evidence I moved to North Carolina
Thank you for reading my story and your help in advance.
Miss Selina
