With broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Sarah, a beautiful soul who brought so much love and light into our lives. As her family—her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and loved ones—we are devastated by this loss and humbly reach out for support during this difficult time.

Remembering Sarah – A Life of Strength and Love:

From the moment Sarah was born, she faced incredible challenges with a strength that inspired everyone around her. Born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, she endured numerous surgeries, infections, and medical complications throughout her life. Despite all of this, Sarah never let her struggles define her. She radiated joy, love, and resilience, graduating in 2002, cherishing her friendships (especially with her dear friend Susie Metz), and always putting others before herself.

For the past 12 years, she fought an unimaginable battle—enduring ongoing infections, blood transfusions, bladder cancer, and, most recently, a devastating stroke. Two weeks ago, she said, “I don’t know how much more my body can take.” She never lost hope until that moment, and though she fought with everything she had, her body could not withstand any more.

While we are heartbroken beyond words, we take comfort in knowing that Sarah is now free from pain, walking for the first time, and singing in God’s choir.
