Assist Sandy Scanlon's Family Through This Unexpected Loss
Donation protected
On May 15th, my best friend, my sister, Kassandra Scanlon, lost her mother unexpectedly to natural causes. Sandy Scanlon lived an amazing 56 years. Through that time, she made a huge impact on everyone that she came in contact with. She was the most giving person, and would do anything for anybody that she met. If you needed anything, she was there. A place to stay, a warm meal, a listening ear. Sandy was a loving mother, and a loving grandmother to two grandchildren, Jack and El, who lovingly referred to her as Grandma Peanut. Her greatest loves included her family, friends, and, of course, the Green Bay Packers! On game day, you could hear her shouting at the screen, hoping the coaches would hear her! Sandy was a fighter. She fought through more than most in their lifetime. She was a transplant recipient twelve years ago, which gave her twelve more years to see her grandchildren be born and grow up.
Any donations raised would be used for end of life arrangements, as well as to help the family with any financial obligations. Unfortunately, Sandy did not have life insurance or savings to pay for end of life arrangements. The family would appreciate any support to help offset the costs of this unexpected tragedy.
