Hello! My name is Sandra Porras, and on Tuesday the 8th, I received a call from the Humboldt County Police Department saying that my 37-year-old son had passed away from a civil dispute that had occurred, and my son, Joshua L. McCollister, had been murdered. He was shot with a small caliber handgun in the abdomen and was able to give a description of the suspects and the car they were driving. He succumbed to his injury and died en route to the hospital.

The last few days have been unreal as I'm struggling to pay my rent and utility bills. . My son was a loving, giving, adventurous soul, and life will never be the same without his beautiful smile for me and all who knew him. I work two part-time jobs but just can't keep up with rent, and now to have this overwhelming heartache of losing my son.I never ask for anything for myself, but I am asking for help now, so if you can possibly help me with donations to get me a little relief
