Assist Sam's Family in Their Time of Need

On Sunday April 14, 2024 at 5:30pm, my beautiful niece, Sam Grundy, lost the love of her life, Kris Sisson and my great-nephews, Kashton and Oakleigh, their Dad. Kris’s life was cut short when an unlicensed, uninsured truck and horse trailer driver turned in front of Kris on a rural highway near Mirror, in Central Alberta.

Sam and Kris moved to a small town to simplify their lifestyle and raise their boys. Their entrepreneurial spirits and lifestyles were not without financial struggles, but their love and laughter always saw them another day. Their love for each other and their boys was never questioned.

Kris and Sam loved the outdoors, spending as much time as possible outside with their boys.

Sam has been overwhelmed by the love and support of her family, friends and community but she needs our help. She would never ask for help, but I am asking. Please consider helping her and her boys.

I’m their Auntie Kath. I will be ensuring Sam gets the funds, so she can stay at home for a bit(the youngest is 3 now), keep food on the table, a roof over their heads and hopefully help set up the boys with money for education later in life.
