Russell Gonzales was at the cusp of manhood, only 17 years old, when he tragically passed away in an auto accident while on his way to work on Wednesday morning, 9 July 2025.

His loving and large family, including his mom, dad, step-dad, and many others, are in shock and deeply mourning. No family can be prepared on any level for the unexpected loss of such a young and vibrant loved one. Russell's step-dad, Sid Ortiz, has been a valued NMIADA team member for a number of years.
