Ruben Rodriguez was a loved Father of two and a dear friend who died from suicide on December 1st 2025 in Austin Texas.

He was known for his humor, his laugh, and through all the good and bad he stayed true to himself. Ruben was a strong man. We are crushed by this loss and are still in shock. What we do know, is that he was loved. He will be forever be remembered, loved and missed.

Ruben's loved ones, his son and family, are currently in Nebraska. We are struggling financially and will need any assistance we can get so that we can attend the upcoming Celebration of Life in Austin, Texas.

We are asking for any financial support that would help the 3 of us pay for our gas, car rental, motel, emergency expenses, and food.

We will be driving nearly 1700 miles through the winter weather and will need enough money to ensure we can travel safely.

For now, we are asking for 1200 dollars but our goal might increase as we get more updates regarding his service. At the time of writing this, we estimate the service will be within the next week.
