Grandma's Estate: Legal Defense Needed

Donation protected
Hello. My name is Laura and I’m setting up this fund to ask for any assistance to cover legal fees for my mother, Rose Marie. In a nutshell, she was appointed executor of my grandmother's estate when she passed away years ago. My aunt, my mother's sister, continued to live in the home as she was my grandmother's constant companion. Both women were kind and hard workers. It was understood that the house would be for my aunt to live with no worries and my grandmother's savings would be used to maintain the home and take care of my aunt's epilepsy, as she had no insurance. My mother's brother took the $90,000 in savings with promises to care for it, set up a checking account for all siblings, invest it, etc. The money was never seen again, and he kept all of it.

My aunt passed away on October 3rd, 2024, in the home. At this time, we found out that she was a hoarder, and the house was and still is in horrible condition. My mother's brother is now suing her to have her removed as the executor of my grandmother's estate so that he can have control over the property. While he has the legal right to sue her, on a moral standpoint, he does not. My mother, my children, myself and friends were there in sickness and health for my grandmother and my aunt. We were there when my aunt had seizures at home and work. We would take her to and from work, to appointments, to buy groceries and to get her out of the house. NOT HIM.

My mother is one of the most selfless, kind-hearted people that I have ever known. She is always looking out for everyone and leaving herself at the end. At her soon-to-be 78 years old, she doesn't need this stress in addition to her and my father's medical issues. After borrowing money to pay for my aunts funeral, all funds have been exhausted. My mother never took one cent from my grandmother's estate, and she wants to do right by my grandmother and aunt. I am humbly requesting $5000 to cover the attorney to take care of my grandmother's and aunt's estates. To date, she has $1000. Any assistance is appreciated, and rest assured that it will be paid forward in whatever way we can. Respectfully, I thank you.
