My name is Danielle Yacono and I am looking to share my brother’s story. In 2022 at the age of 39, Robert Miller was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer. Since then, Robert has endured 2 major surgeries, multiple chemo treatments, radiation and now has a nephrostomy tube in each kidney along with an ileostomy bag. Robert had to medically retire from a career he loved as a High School guidance counselor. Robert cannot walk on his own and uses the help of family and the assistance of a wheelchair. Robert has many medical appointments where he has to use medical transportation that is causing the bills to pile up. With the impending need to make his home handicap accessible as well as other assistive devices at home such as a medical bed and a lift chair, we are asking for any help that anyone feels they can give. Any help is much appreciated and your continued support of his fight against this cancer is much needed and does not go unnoticed. Thank you!
