Assist Rob Cornell in His Time of Need

Hello, my name is Rob Cornell. Reaching out for help like this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but some kind friends here in Naples, FL encouraged me to share my story. I’ve always relied on my faith to guide me, and as a Christian, I’ve spent much of my life helping others. Asking for help now feels unfamiliar, but I know it’s the right thing to do.

For over 40 years, I’ve had a fulfilling career in the restaurant business, where my regulars and friends became like family to me. Their kindness and friendship have enriched my life in countless ways. However, in 2018, I was diagnosed with pseudopapillary neoplasm, a rare form of pancreatic cancer that has slowly been eating away at my body. The picture of me was from better days, today I am merely a shell of that person, having lost significant weight.

Since then, I’ve endured two major surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. Sadly, in March 2024, my condition reached a critical point, and I entered hospice care, which means I am no longer able to work.

I am raising funds to ease the financial burden on my family and friends and, most importantly, to fulfill my wish of visiting my grandchildren in Arizona. Traveling in my condition will be challenging and costly, but seeing them would mean the world to me.
