It is with great sadness that we have to share the passing of our father, husband, brother, and grandfather, Ricardo Gomez, on Saturday, May 17th, 2025. He was an amazing father who unfortunately lost his battle to pancreatic cancer. He fought long and hard up until his last breath. Cancer has claimed the lives of so many people. When Dad got his diagnosis, he was in stage 2. We thought we had all the time in the world, and unfortunately that was far from the truth. No one is ever prepared to lose someone, but losing Dad left a huge hole in our family. Watching him throughout his fight was devastating, but he tried to stay strong for his loved ones.

Anyone who knew my father knew that he was a jokester. His mission was always to put a smile on your face. His pride and joy were his grandkids, who are going to miss him dearly. He was always the life of the party. In the days leading up to his passing, he was still joking and trying to make light of what we knew was happening. Despite how he was feeling, he always made sure to make the best of every situation. 

Death brings emotional pain and stress as well as financial stress. We want to provide the best we can for our father, and we are hoping we can all come together and try to make it through this tough time.
