I am Patti, and I trying to raise money to help my son-in-law, Randy, pay for funeral expenses and outstanding medical bills.
On Thursday 10/31, Randy took his wife Kasi, to the hospital, because she looked yellow. Turns out Kasi was 1 step away from liver failure. The hospital started running tests. Eventually they were going to admit her. Due to not having a bed so she was transferred to the University on Minnesota Hospital.
Throughout the weekend Kasi spent the time sleeping. They continued to run tests.
Sunday noon came and we found out Kasi was doing better, she was talking more, but still tired. At 12:30 Randy called me and said Kasi was being moved to ICU, she was unresponsive, and that she may not make it out. We were shown the CT they did on her. There was blood build up in her skull and the pressure shifted her brain to the right along with her brain stem, she had blood on her brain stem, Kasi's blood was not clotting.
For 3 days Kasi was unresponsive, on a breathing tube, and attached to several IV's. She also still had the the blood in her skull. Surgery was never an option due to her blood not clotting.
Today Kasi passed.
Now all Randy is left with is medical bills and funeral expenses. While being confused and grieving the loss of his wife.
