My cat Po has been with me my entire adult life til now. She’s undoubtedly the sweetest and best cat I have ever owned. She has been with me though so many major life events but oral cancer is taking my girl away from me before either of us were ready. I am so incredibly fortunate to have had 3 more months than I expected, but it’s not making this difficult decision any easier.
Po cannot groom herself or eat on her own, which is not a fair quality of life. I am trying to make the last few weeks comfortable until it’s time to say goodbye. It’s so painful to let her go before she’s ready but I cannot bare to see her struggle and her condition worsen.
After countless vet visits and even trying to take care of my own mental health I am hoping to have assistance to cover her euthanasia and preservation of her memory.
