Hi, my name is Mike. My daughter Peyton and I just lost our home to a fire, right after coming home from a week in the children's hospital because of some health problems for Peyton. I found some salvageable personal things, but the fire started in my daughter's room and destroyed everything of hers, including her 2 cats (Biscuits and Gravy) and 3 newborn kittens, and 3 parakeets. The house isn't salvageable and was uninsured because of our dogs being pitbull mixes, no matter how sweet they all are. Anything you could do to help will be appreciated more than you know. I don't like asking for help, and it really feels bad to ask, even now. But my daughter is more important than my pride. She's almost 16, and she needs stuff. We need stuff. Anything helps.
