Dear Family, Friends and kind Strangers,
We're reaching out today with a heavy heart, but also with immense hope on behalf of my sister, Patricia Taranowicz Smith.
She is facing a significant health challenge that requires a critical surgery, and we desperately need your support to help cover the overwhelming costs involved.
Patty has been diagnosed with a large tumor in her Abdomen and Pelvic area.
The doctor has advised that she will need major surgery as soon as possible to remove the tumor, prevent further progression, restore mobility and improve quality of life.
While we are trying to be hopeful about the surgery's outcome, the financial burden is immense. Therefore, medical expenses will be staggering and beyond that, Patty will require support during recovery. We are looking to raise funds to help cover: Medical expenses that are not covered under health plans such as pre-and post-operative care, Nursing Care: After surgery, Patty will need professional nursing assistance at home to ensure a safe and smooth recovery, Transportation: Getting to and from out of State Hospital and Medical Care.
Anyone who knows Patty knows that she is a vibrant soul who loves spending time with her family and friends. She always looks out for anyone in her path to give a smile, a helping hand or just an ear to listen. It's heartbreaking to see her struggle as a widower.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in alleviating this incredible financial stress and allowing Patty to focus on healing. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this GoFund Me Campaign with your network. Spreading the word is just as valuable.
We believe in the power of community and kindness. Your support will not only provide crucial financial assistance but also offer immense emotional encouragement to Patty and our family during this challenging time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion and generosity.
With deepest gratitude,
Catherine and Mike Vasil (Sister and brother-in-law)
