My name is quest young, and I recently moved to California to start a new chapter in my life and pursue my dreams of becoming a professional dancer. I had a plan, a vision, and a few job opportunities lined up that I was excited to begin—but right before I made the big move, everything began to fall apart.

The jobs that were supposed to help me get on my feet ended up falling through at the last minute, leaving me scrambling. I used the Turo app to rent a car so I could get around for interviews and possibly start doing DoorDash to make some income. But on the very day I was supposed to pick up my rental, the host canceled on me—after already taking my payment. Not only was I stranded with no vehicle and very little money left, but they told me it could take days to get my money back.

This has left me in a really hard spot—no reliable way to get around, no income yet, and no place to stay. I’ve put everything I had into this move, and now I just need a little support to get back on my feet.

I’m asking for help to cover transportation, food, and temporary housing so I can get to interviews and begin building the future I came here for. Every little bit helps more than you know.
