Currently, my mother is off work for 12 weeks, maybe even longer, due to a work-related accident that ruined the rotator cuff in her right shoulder when she fell and nearly smashed her head against the mop bucket sink at work.
As such, we're behind on the house payment, and due to the extreme cold temps we had recently, the battery in our only operational vehicle needs to be replaced. My mother isn't sure when she'll get her Workman's Comp payments, nor how much while she's off on medical, so anything would help us out if I'm being frank.
But yeah, that's basically where we're at. My mom might also have to go back into surgery because when they originally did the surgery on her shoulder, the doctor noticed it had healed wrong in the 6-7 months from her falling to her finally getting the surgery. He did the best he could at that time and told my mother that she would more than likely have to have surgery again to completely fix her rotator cuff, which will put her off work for roughly another 7 weeks on top of the 12 she is already off for.
