Assist with Mom’s Funeral expense

Update: Mom has passed and like her personality she went out on a memorable day. We will update with more information on her services.

As most of you know, Mom has been battling stage 4 lung cancer for the last year. Over the last few weeks, it has spread to different locations. We first found 5 spots on her brain and had plans to treat that.

She was admitted to Tampa General on Mother's Day due to severe back pain. During our time here, they decided to treat the brain cancer and found 5 additional spots that were ultimately treated.

An MRI showed that there were several tumors that had developed on her spine as well, causing it to destabilize. They have done a minor procedure to help her relieve the pain, but her body does not want to cooperate and recover properly.

The doctors are telling us that in her current state, any further chemo or radiation therapy would be detrimental to her and cause more harm than she would be able to recover from.

We are preparing her for Hospice care and to make her as comfortable as possible.

We are asking for any help to prepare for the end stages and memorial services.

Our family thanks every single person who has supported us through this journey. This experience is truly eye-opening to us, and we thank you all for your prayers and support.

Update - Mom has been sent home with Hospice care. We are unfortunately planning for the worst but still hoping things turn around. She’s trying to fight but is getting weaker by the day. Thank you everyone for your love and support during this time.
