My name is Ofelia! Nice to meet you all :)

I have started this GoFundMe for my mother and nephew who rely on their van for transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and basic transportation. I'm going to be very honest and blunt with this... See, my mother has been a provider (not paid) for my sister Erica and her son Alex, who are both wheelchair-bound. My sister Erica suddenly and unfortunately passed away on August 11th, 2025. The reason I mention this is because she would financially take the responsibility to fix and pay anything involving the van along with rent and utilities. It is of no shock that prices for everything have skyrocketed; we all feel the brunt of it. Unfortunately, their van, the only method of transportation, has broken down. The ramp has stopped working as well as the sliding door. They have quoted my mom (image attached) - Superior Van & Mobility Company LLC. Currently, the van is still not paid off, which I am also adding the total still owed to be paid off on this. (Image to be uploaded once I get the loan paperwork information from Company. Now I know we all have our stories and a lot of us need a helping hand. I have stopped worrying about what others would think of me or my family for starting a GoFundMe. I am not above asking for help. I frankly am heartbroken having to see my mother struggle with some life situations as she is still dealing with her grief along with my nephew.
