Assist Ociel's Final Journey to Hollister

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Ana. Hago este post en nombre de la familia de mi tío Ociel Prado Canela. Con gran pesar compartimos la noticia de su fallecimiento el 21 de febrero de 2025. Su muerte fue repentina e inesperada, mientras se encontraba en su hogar natal de Zamora Michoacán. Deja atrás a su esposa Imelda, sus hijos David y Carlos y sus queridas 3 nietas. Además, Ociel fue un gran hermano, tío, padrino, primo y sobre todo un amigo de todos! Su sonrisa interminable y su naturaleza alegre todos atesoraremos profundamente en nuestros corazones. Como sabrá, su residencia principal y su hogar fue Hollister California durante muchos años mientras dedicó su vida a trabajar en la industria cementera. Amablemente solicitamos donaciones mientras navegamos por la difícil tarea de traerlo de regreso a casa desde México para que descanse en Hollister Ca. y que su familia le dé el último adiós que se merece.

Hi everyone, my name is Ana I am making this post on behalf of my uncle Ociel Prado Canela's family. It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of his passing February 21st, 2025. His death was sudden and unexpected, while in his native home of Zamora Michoacan. He leaves behind his wife Imelda sons David & Carlos and his beloved 3 granddaughters. Additionally, Ociel was a great brother, uncle, padrino, cousin and above all a friend to all! His never-ending smile and cheerful nature we will all cherish deeply in our hearts. As you may know his main residence and home was Hollister California for many years as he dedicated his life working in the cementing industry. We kindly ask for donations as we navigate the difficult task of bringing him back home from Mexico to lay to rest in Hollister Ca. and for his family to give him the final goodbye he deserves.

Ociel's viewing will begin at 3pm on Sunday 3/2/2025 at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson funeral home located at 870 San Benito St. in Hollister Ca. 95023 Following will be rosary at 5:00pm. The following day on Sunday 3/3/2025 mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church located at 520 College St. Hollister Ca. 95023 at 11:00 am. His burial will take place after mass at Calvary Cemetary 1100 Hillcrest Rd. Hollister Ca. 95023

El velatorio de Ociel comenzará a las 3:00 p.m. el domingo 2/3/2025 en la funeraria Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson ubicada en 870 San Benito St. en Hollister Ca. 95023 A continuación será el rosario a las 5:00pm. Al día siguiente, el domingo 3/3/2025, se llevará a cabo la misa en la Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón ubicada en 520 College St. Hollister Ca. 95023 a las 11:00am. Su entierro se llevará a cabo después de la misa en Calvary Cementerio 1100 Hillcrest Rd. Hollister Ca. 95023
