Help Nabi Get Settled Into His New Home

Community Leader Needs Our Help.
Nabi Yisrael is a dedicated community leader and disability advocate. He has on various occasions, partnered with the Chicago Area Fair Housing Alliance (CAFHA) and other organizations like Access Living to bring awareness to the housing discrimination that people with disabilities face when searching for housing.
Nabi has shared his personal experience with housing instability and why we need additional affordable and accessible housing opportunities.
Nabi was recently featured in the Chicago Tribune where he shared his most recent struggle with finding adequate housing, which led Nabi to bouncing around between friends and family - and eventually calling around to shelters who had no accessible options. This near encounter with homelessness has affected Nabi greatly. While Nabi has had some recent issues with his health, he JUST landed a new accessible apartment where we hope he can stay for a long time.
Let’s chip in to help Nabi with moving costs and helping to make his new place a home! Please consider making a donation. Every bit helps.
