Hi, my name is Naajiah, and I’m humbly asking for support as I fight to keep a roof over my head.

Over the past five months, I’ve been carrying the full financial burden of my apartment after my roommate abruptly stopped paying her portion of the rent. I’ve lived in my home for three years without ever missing or being late on a payment — until this situation started. I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat, but the unexpected responsibility of covering two people's rent has pushed me into a place I can’t carry alone anymore.

My roommate has now moved out, leaving me with months of overdue balances and an eviction filing set to begin. I have paid my portion every month, but the complex does not accept partial payments through the portal — so even though I’ve had my share, I’ve been unable to submit it.

I’ve explored every option: working extra jobs, selling services, reaching out to local resources, and trying to negotiate a payment plan. But the legal fees and back balance have grown faster than I can keep up. I am now facing the reality of losing my home, despite my consistent history as a responsible tenant.

I’m asking for help to cover:
