Assist My Healing Journey and Family Needs

First off, I appreciate you even taking the time to read this. I have been on my health journey for sometime. Working on my diabetes and in turn losing almost 100lbs. I’m now very excited and quite nervous to share that I have officially been approved for weight loss surgery!! More specifically the Gastric Sleeve. I will be getting my surgery date which I’m planning on it being at the end of May. This is a massive step in what I’m hoping will be long term success in gaining a better quality of life.

As most of you know I have had to cut back from full time to part time due to being more available for my son whom is autistic as well as the possibility of this surgery. It was a hard choice but I need to be there for him and more importantly for me.

Which brings me why I am making a GoFundMe. I will have to take a leave of absence from work for at least 2 weeks in order to take time to heal. This is very hard because I do not like asking for help, whatsoever but what I’m hoping is to maybe raise enough money to cover those few weeks that I’m out so that’s 1 less thing that I will have to focus on during recovery.
