Our family is heartbroken. We lost my cousin, Monica Soto, who had already faced so many hard years. Her parents - my Aunt Velia and Uncle Johnny - are both deaf and struggling emotionally, physically, and financially. Monica's sister, Carolina, is recovering from a kidney transplant. They are grieving their sudden loss while facing the stress of funeral expenses and day-to-day living costs.

I am doing my best to help make the arrangements with the Medical Examiner, Mortuaries, and for the travel cost to get to Monica from Reno. They are needing financial help to go to Reno (Monica's remains are there), to be able to see her one last time, before her cremation to bring her home. The cost has been overwhelming and we need help.

I am asking for help - any amount, no matter how small, will go toward the funeral and memorial expenses and helping Carolina and my aunt and uncle during this heartbreaking time. Every bit of support truly makes a difference.
