Aloha Friends and Family of Missy Hedstrom!

I am starting this GoFundMe for our dear friend Missy Hedstrom and her ohana to help with living expense as she is unable to work due to an injury she sustained while walking her dog on Lumahai at the end of July.

Missy was life-flighted to Oahu, due to loss of blood flow and circulation to her lower leg and has been off work since waiting for stabilization for her surgery and will be off work for several months once surgery is complete.

She is having to fly back and forth between Kauai and Oahu frequently for her specialist visits and needs assistance for these visits so her husband or children must fly with her.

As Missy is self-employed she does not qualify for disability or unemployment so their family is only able to rely on the wages of her husband who is employed with KFD, but he had to miss work to care for her as well.

Missy has been an amazing community member and always there to lend a hand when needed for us, so any little bit helps.
