Update on Mike Wallace and his needs

Aug 6 Update: A couple weeks ago Mike went back into the hospital with some bowel problems. He spent 7 days in the hospital and we believe the problem has been resolved. From there he went to rehab for 4 days. He is now back home, however he still has woiund care 3 days a week. (He still has a partially open wound from the bowel rupture that occured November 2024. He also has wounds on his ankle, feet and backside that are being tended to. Since he came home from this round of hospitalization he hasn't been able to use the walker much. His balance is really off. PT is trying to work on that. His medication continues to be one of the biggest expenses and we just simply can't afford them. So now, almost 8 months later, we are still dealing with the aftermath of initial ordeal. Hospital bills, rehab bills continue to pour in, but we just don't have the funds for that and still take care of day to day business.
