Assist Mike and Mary: Evicted Seniors

Mike and Mary are in their late 60’s/early 70’s. They are living on their Social Security checks each month barely getting by. Mary has health problems so Mike is her Caregiver. They have lived in their little 60’s model trailer for almost 10 years. 2 years ago, a new owner took over the mobile home park they’ve called home. “Don’t worry” they said, “you’ll still have a place to live here” they said. Mike did work for them and found them contractors to get the hard work done they needed. Then, less than 90 days ago, gave them a “No Fault Eviction” notice to be out in 90 days. Now, if they want their $400 deposit back, the owner said they’ll have to be out a week earlier than the eviction states!! They have no children or other family members who could help them; just me. So, I am reaching out for them in hopes that this can help! They need your help to get into a place ASAP. Rent here for a Studio runs about $1200/mo- to get in requires first & last month’s rent plus deposit. They have everything packed and we’ll be putting it in storage until they can get a place.
