Assist Miguel in Restoring His Teaching Tools After Accident
Donation protected
Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
My name is Miguel, and I’m a third-grade collab teacher at a Title I campus in San Antonio, Texas. Every day, I have the privilege of working with incredible students who face significant challenges, and I strive to provide them with the support and guidance they need to succeed.
Recently, an unfortunate accident occurred—my work laptop suffered severe water damage and is no longer functional. This laptop is an essential tool for my teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, student assessments, and communication with parents and colleagues. It’s also vital for my ongoing professional development as I work toward my dream of becoming a school counselor.
While I do have insurance, the cost to repair or replace the laptop still exceeds $300 out-of-pocket, which is a significant expense for me at this time. As an educator, especially at a Title I school, resources are often limited, and unexpected costs like this can be challenging to manage.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping me cover the costs of repairing my laptop. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your generosity and kindness mean the world to me.
With gratitude,
Miguel
