Help Me Keep My Mother’s Home and Cover Final Expenses

Hi, my name is MIchael MCgraham , and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life.

On September 1st at 12:15 PM, my beautiful mother passed away and went to be with the Lord. Everything happened so suddenly — we’re still trying to process the heartbreak.

She was admitted to the hospital on August 15th for a routine procedure on her leg. But during that procedure, she suffered a massive heart attack. She was without a pulse for 25 minutes before the doctors were able to revive her. By then, she had already suffered multiple organ failure, and her kidneys and liver began to shut down.

Despite the doctors’ best efforts — including dialysis — her condition continued to decline. On the day she passed, she was surrounded by family: my aunt Cherie, my sister Lesa, my girlfriend Allana, my daughter Jessie, and my brother-in-law Armond. She was deeply loved, and her presence in our lives is already missed beyond words.

Now, I’m doing everything I can to take care of her affairs and to keep her home, which means everything to our family. But with my mom in the hospital for nearly three weeks, I haven’t been able to work, and the bills are piling up fast.

This is very difficult for me — I’ve never made a GoFundMe before, and I don’t like asking for help. But so many kind people have reached out asking what they can do, and the truth is: I could really use some support right now.

I’m humbly asking for donations to help cover:

• Emergency living expenses while I get back on my feet
