On June 16,2024, my mother-in-law, Melissa Shaffer suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Melissa fought for years after battling stage 4 throat cancer trying to get her strength back up. A few months ago, she had a heart attack which then led to a triple bypass surgery she was still trying to recover from. With the unexpected loss also comes unexpected expenses for the family. All money raised will go to the kids to pay the funeral home and other things need to be taken care of.
