Assist Melissa with Funeral Costs for Her Beloved Mom

We are reaching out to help our colleague who lost her main support person when her mother died of sepsis on April 8th. Melissa endured many hardships throughout her 20s and 30s due to a 20-year meth addiction. Her mother was always there for her, supporting her recovery and assisting her with her two older children during her struggles. Melissa got sober 12 years ago, earned her degree in alcohol and drug counseling, and continued her education to obtain her license in the field. She gives back to the community and finds purpose in counseling others. She can do this because her mother was by her side, helping with her younger son, covering housing costs, and supporting Melissa as she maintains a full-time job. Melissa would love to have a funeral for her mother. Still, she has little money and no ability to pay for the funeral costs for her beloved mother, who has been vital to Melissa’s recovery and her ability to care for her family.
