Assist Melissa After Her Devastating Fall

Our sweet friend Melissa took a terrible fall down her steps on Thursday evening. She woke up Friday morning in severe pain with barely any movement in her left leg along with numbness in her entire leg. Unfortunately, this landed her in the Neuro ICU at Skyline where she is still currently hospitalized. She had surgery Saturday to repair the damage. The doctors said it was the third worse case they have seen in their careers. She is hoping to get out of the hospital soon but still no definite discharge date/time. She now has full range of motion in her leg, but still has numbness in her foot. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her with learning how to walk again with the numb foot. Unfortunately, she will be out of work for six weeks or longer. She is hoping to come back sooner on light duty, but we are not sure if that will happen. She is going to need help with her medical bills (with surgery...it's going to be crazy high) and her living expenses (she is PRN and does not have PTO or sick time). Melissa is an amazing, sweet, selfless, and beautiful friend who could really use our help! If you are able to help her in any way, I know she would greatly appreciate it! We all love Melissa dearly and are praying for a quick and speedy recovery!!
