I'm reaching out to ask for your help for my dear friend Meaghan O'Shaugnessy. She has just achieved a major accomplishment by obtaining her PhD from Penn State, but that accomplishment has been overshadowed by recent events. Meaghan is facing an incredibly tough time right now. Last week, she lost both her mother and her older brother Brian in the span of several days. Her mother passed away due to old age, but her brother’s death came as a shock to her and her family.
On top of her grief, Meaghan is about to move out of state to start a new teaching job in Maryland. Unfortunately, Meaghan has Pompe disease, a genetic condition that makes it very difficult for her to move heavy items or handle the physical demands of moving.
We’re raising $4,500 to cover the costs of hiring movers to help with her relocation. This support will allow Meaghan to focus on her new job and coping with her losses without the added stress of managing the move. Any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with others would be a huge help.
Thank you for your support during this challenging time.
