Assist Meagan with Colleen's Final Farewell

Hello, I’m Meagan Ovalle. I’ve set this page up for my mother, Colleen Hamanjian. If you don’t know, she’s been in declining health recently and has had many complications, starting with the amputation of one of her legs above the knee. This led to staying at an assisted living facility as she needed care and therapy that we just couldn’t provide. She was supposed to be recovering and planned on returning home after learning to adjust to living with her new prosthetic, and some days appeared to be doing pretty well, relatively speaking.

This past weekend though, she had suddenly taken a massive turn for the worse all at once and passed during a 3-day stay at a nearby hospital on Sunday morning. Arrangements have been made for this Saturday, 5/24 from 12pm-4pm at Overton Funeral Home in Islip if you’d like to attend the service.

If you would like to donate anything, it would be going towards the service and would be greatly appreciated. As I’d said, this was very sudden and we weren’t prepared.
