Assist Mary Thurman's Family After Her Passing

Our family unexpectedly lost our beautiful and amazing mother, Mary Thurman, on April 12th. As you can imagine, we are more than a little overwhelmed with the task that lay ahead to celebrate the life of such a phenomenal woman. Those who knew her know how she loved to sing, that she was actively involved in local politics and groups on multiple levels, and her commitment to her friends, community, and family and how important they were to her. She would always help others when she could, even when things were tight financially or she was dealing with health issues; she would always be there. That’s just who she was, and she taught my sisters and me (and a lot of our friends) that same value: to always be there when you can, even in the smallest way.

As we move forward with the preparations, we are realizing that we are going to need more support than we thought to finalize everything with mom’s estate, upcoming services, and settling whatever remains on her vehicle. We are thankful for any help you can give us as I know we are all hurting with this tremendous loss.
