Assist Mary and Jimmy Farr in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Saturday, while Mary was in the town of Senoia with her beloved dog Mabel, she was in a serious accident and hit by a vehicle on Main Street.
Mary Drake Farr does our tributes to recognize alumni whom have passed without fail. She is very dedicated to the volunteer job and does our fallen great honor. She also admins "Remembering Our Fallen Panthers" page where these are shared with other alumni.
Mabel is okay and is with family. She was not injured. Anyone who knows Mary personally knows she loves her fur-baby to the ends of the earth. She constantly shares precious photos of her pup with all of us to give us smiles and show her pride being a fur-parent.
Mary was life flighted to Grady Trauma Center and is in ICU with bleeds on the brain and numerous other injuries. She has been kept intubated and may remain so for several days. The biggest concern has been the intercranial pressures from the bleed on the brain. She is under close watch.
Her husband Jimmy is keeping vigil by her side and supporting her lovingly while she fights through her recovery journey. We know these are some long and stressful days for him and there are many more that lie ahead while she goes through her healing journey.
People have asked for a GoFundMe for Jimmy & Mary. Jimmy will directly receive any money raised to assist with his gas going from Senoia to Grady, his food from the cafeteria while he is there supporting Mary, and any medical bills or expenses incurred.
I ask that you keep Mary in your prayers for complete healing. Please also keep her family in your prayers as they sit with Mary while she recovers.
We thank you in advance for your support and prayers.
