Hi there, my name's Scott Grande, and I'm raising funds for my friend Mark, who has had a very difficult journey, to say the least.

He's paraplegic, in a motorized wheelchair, and lost a leg now too, and is finally out of hospitals/nursing homes after over 18 months.

We found him his own apartment, but he needs assistance every morning and evening, and the state program is slow on approving him for homecare aids. It's inevitable due to all his legitimate care needs, but we need this money to pay the nursing assistants who have been helping him since he urgently left the nursing home, and until he's approved, which is taking WAY longer than it should.

He's so happy to be able to live in his own apartment again and be out of poor care situations. It's beyond words, really, witnessing what goes on first hand in these conglomerate owned facilities.

If you can help, please do, as he's living only on Social Security and everything is tight.
