Update: Mark Has Peacefully Passed Away

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share that Mark peacefully passed away Thursday evening.

While our grief is immense, we take comfort knowing he is no longer suffering. Mark fought bravely until the end, and we are eternally grateful for every moment we had with him.

The focus of this fundraiser now shifts to cover his immediate funeral expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, is an act of love that directly goes toward securing Mark's final arrangements.

This is a heartbreaking update for anyone who knows and loves Mark La Cour.

Last week, Mark suffered a massive devastating stroke that left him in critical condition. After exhaustive efforts and difficult conversations with medical staff, doctors have confirmed that Mark's injuries are irreversible, and he will soon be leaving us. We are currently surrounding him with love and keeping him comfortable during his final days.

Mark is, and forever will be a cherished husband, father, son, uncle, and friend who approached life with humor, unwavering faith, kindness, and dedication to his family. His loss will leave an enormous hole in the lives of his entire family.

While the family focuses on these final, precious moments with Mark, we are launching this fundraiser to lift the crushing weight of immediate and unforeseen financial burdens.
