Assist Mari's Family in Their Time of Need

My name is Dana, a close family friend of Mari and her Mom, Linda. Linda has asked me to set-up this GoFund as they are in desperate need of help for help in raising money to pay for Mari’s burial expenses, settling Mari’s household and to provide memorials for her children and her family.

Mari passed away April 4th after being in ICU for ten days, leaving behind her sons and her extensive family, who will be left to continue her memory. Despite health challenges, Mari was determined to live her life to its fullest, experiencing as much as she could, knowing her life may be short, always hopeful it would be long. She had a creative streak a milewide; her bright sparks of artistic creativity leading her from drawing to poetry to tattooing to designing clothing and the most amazing swag. She was happy, thrilled even, to be able to share her creativity with others. She was also set to fight for the best life she could reach, always determined to live. Because of her fighting spirit and fierce creativity, we are hoping to honor her by allowing her to continue being present in the lives of others through her burial, celebration of life and memorials.

However, the reality is that burial and after death is expensive. Mari was disabled, she had a limited income, her death was unexpected and none of us were ready to see her leave and there are simply no funds to meet her needs. If you can please donate we hope to raise at least $6000 as soon as possible so she might rest in peace. We deeply appreciate you reading this, I know all thoughts, prayers, or support will be appreciated by her family.
