Our mother Maria Puente, who most knew as Teresa, is now home with the Lord after battling Stage 4 colon cancer that spread to her liver for the past 3 years. She was a loving and caring mother to six children and fought long and hard to try to stay with us but, she is now able to rest with our Savior. Two of the six children were still living at home with our mother so we are now taking them under our care. I am making this GoFundMe in hopes to have some assistance in paying for her memorial service and with financial assistance as we transition our siblings into our care. We have had so much support from our family and friends and could not be more grateful. Our mom was so loved and it warms our heart to hear the stories and read the messages we have received. She was an amazing woman and mother and we are blessed she impacted you all as much as she did us. Thank you.
