On the morning of January 2, 2025, our mother, Maria Garcia Hernandez, passed away after fighting off an infection. She was such a fierce, intelligent, confident, loving, supportive, brave, and trusting woman. Everyone and anyone who ever encountered her knows how big of a void she left. She was such a special soul that you’re lucky to have met her. We all know she is dancing it up in the sky to Sonora Dinamita and all the cumbias you can think of! I miss her, as does everyone who loves her.

The money being raised will cover funeral and services expenses along with travel expenses for our family. And whatever else to help support our dad.
